Housing:* In 1994
the Chamber and City of Manchester completed an extensive housing study. The final
report indicated areas for Manchester's housing industry to grow and since the
report a new 74 unit apartment complex and a 24 unit elderly housing project have
been constructed . Area developers have also built several speculative homes.
Currently there are three new subdivisions providing the availability of over
100 new residential lots. Housing stock within the community is available in all
price ranges. Health Care:*
The Regional Medical Center of Northeast Iowa and Delaware County is a 37 bed
acute care facility. Other services include: obstetrics and family health, radiology,
respiratory care, cardiac rehabilitation and fitness center, home health care,
physical therapy, laboratory services, outpatient clinics / ambulatory surgery,
surgical services / anesthesia, and emergency and ambulance services. |
